While En-ROADS does not model individual forests and regions, the forest modeling in En-ROADS is derived from C-ROADS. In C-ROADS, the flows of carbon into and out of forests in each of the C-ROADS regions are modeled separately based on forest properties, changes, and uses. For example, compared to the other regions, the Other Developing region has the largest area of tropical forests and also has the most deforestation in the Baseline Scenario.
