Yes. For example, several years ago, the En-ROADS Baseline projected a temperature of 4.1°C by 2100. As global policies evolved and new data became available, we recalibrated the model—first lowering the projection to 3.6°C to reflect recent trends in wind and solar deployment. In 2023, the Baseline was updated again to 3.3°C. This change reflected a mix of developments, including new estimates of the economic damages from climate change and more optimistic assumptions about average global carbon pricing.
